Promotional Discounts

Star’s “Welcome Discount” and any other promotional discount offers made available via the Website are subject to the following terms:

  • valid only for purchases exceeding AUD $100 ex GST;
  • redeemable once per customer;
  • the applicable promotional code must be entered at checkout;
  • discounts are not valid in conjunction with any other promotional offers or codes unless listed below in Current Promotions.
  • discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to prior orders or to products that are out of stock at the time of purchase.

4.2 Star reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or cancel any promotional discount offer at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice.

Current Promotions

  1. 10% off First Order
    Enjoy 10% off your first order at Star Group (excluding existing trade accounts). This offer is valid for first-time orders only and can be combined with our free shipping promotions on orders over $150 (ex GST). Please note that no other promotions can be applied in conjunction with this offer. To claim the discount please sign up to our newsletter, or click the pop-up to claim. 

    1.a. Exclusion: Specifically, equipment products from the following brands are not eligible for any percentage-based discounts: Roband, Anvil, Chef Inox, Nemco, Panasonic, Robot Coupe, Sammic, Star Group, and Vitamix. Discount cannot be combined with other offers, clearance items, or wholesale contract pricing.

    1.b. Exclusion: This code can not be stacked with any other welcome discount offer.

  2. Free Metro Shipping on Orders over $165

    Enjoy complimentary shipping to all major capital cities and metropolitan areas when your order subtotal reaches $165 ($150 ex. GST).

    2.a. Qualifying for Free Shipping: The $150 (ex. GST) threshold applies to the value of the items in your cart only. Shipping costs and taxes are not included toward this minimum. For example, a subtotal of $140 plus a $15 shipping fee would not qualify for this offer.

    2.b. Excluded Regions: This offer applies specifically to our defined metropolitan delivery zones. For regional or remote areas, please refer to our Shipping Matrix for applicable rates.

    2.c. Trade Accounts: Please note that specialised account pricing and trade-specific terms apply to your orders. As such, trade accounts are excluded from standard web shipping promotions and will have shipping calculated based on your specific account agreement.

  3. 5% pop-up discount offer.
    This offer is valid for customers who submit the form via the pop-up. This discount can not be stacked with other discounts and can not be applied retrospectively. It is limited to one-time use per customer account. This discount does not apply to Star Group trade account holders. 

Expired Promotions

  1. BFCM 10% storewide.
    Get 10% off storewide — discount automatically applied at checkout.
    Excludes custom print and trade account orders. Offer valid for new customers only and can be used in conjunction with shipping promotions. One-time use per customer. Ends 11:59pm AEDT on 21/11/2025.

  2. 5% off cleaning and jantiorial items: This sales is strictly limited to cleaning and janitorial in stock items only. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This offer is valid to 11:59pm AEST Monday 4th May, 2026.
